Selected Discoveries from the Archaeological Departments of the Moravian Museum in Brno

The new exhibition and the similarly titled publication present the most interesting archaeological discoveries and excavations conducted by specialists at the Moravian Museum and their collaborators over the last ten years.
Seven sections present selected sites and findings from the Morava region, from their discovery through professional processing to their setting in the historical context. At the same time, the diversity of methods for acquiring new archaeological evidence, the variety of research and the necessity of cooperation with the public, which significantly contributes to the preservation of our common past, are presented. The exhibition covers the period from the younger phase of the Old Stone Age (Palaeolithic) to the High Middle Ages.
