The exhibition introduces various types of paper currency (bancozettel, banknotes, state notes, emergency money, bonds, etc.) that were used in the territory of the Habsburg Monarchy from the reign of Maria Theresa until the end of Austria-Hungary. Only a modest number of these paper money have survived to the present day.
