The Cunning Little Vixen - manuscripts, documents

During this unique event, originals of Janáček's manuscripts will be exceptionally on display. The public will have the opportunity, under severe security measures, to see during mere three days all significant manuscripts related to the opera Cunning Little Vixen, i. e. Janáčeks autograph of the opera, the copy used for the world premiere in 1924, handwritten versions of librettos, printed cuttings from the newspaper Lidové noviny with Janáček's remarks, correspondence with Rudolf Těsnohlídek, etc. Presentation of the stage and costumes for the world premiere designed by Eduard Milén will be part of the display; the sketches are today kept in the collections of the Department of History of Theatre / Art history museum / Moravian Museum.
