The Archaeology from the Sky exhibition takes you high above the Earth to see what is usually invisible: traces of the lives of our ancestors long hidden underground or in the relief of the terrain.

You will learn how to recognise these vestiges in the landscape, find out just how far the technology of archaeology has advanced over the past century and gain an appreciation of why each and every archaeological find is important.

You can look forward to items used to document monuments, archaeological finds from sites discovered by aircraft, a reconstruction of the grave of a Celtic warrior, 3D models and 3D visualisations of archaeological situations set into aerial photographs, many beautiful shots of the landscape from a bird’s-eye perspective, a drone simulator, a game and an interactive sandbox in which you can shape the landscape with your own imagination.

We look forward to welcoming you aboard a flight over landscapes past and present. So don’t hesitate and purchase your flight tickets at the Anthropos Pavilion box office.
